Budget Cuts (VR Game)

Regular game release testing towards the platform “Steam”.
My approach to this sort of testing is laid back and supportive and I always work to smooth out any stress, unclarity or misunderstandings external testing services might cause close to the end of a project.
The tests were conducted exclusively through the HTC Vive VR headset and the Steam VR software. -

Supported the level art team and Technical Artists as an Art Analyst.

Spent most of the project as an Additinal Designer/Scripter; built scripts for Y-Wing and other gamemode based in-game events.
Backed up the team at the same time as a QA Analyst focused on user experience within art as well as other Tech Art tasks. E.g: I ran performance tests, fixed faulty collision meshes and various other supportive art tasks.

I helped out on "Battlefield 3: Aftermath" - Battlefield 3's fourth expansion - as a UI Artist and Collision QA.
My main task was to make sure the players could move around the maps without getting stuck in all the cracks and rubbles present all over the maps due to the theme of the expansion pack. I have been testing and polishing collision on various objects along with creating my own objects when needed.

I helped out on "Battlefield 3: Aftermath" - Battlefield 3's fourth expansion - as a UI Artist and Collision QA.

Alongside this I also helped out creating the UI art used for the new weapon, the Crossbow, the art used for new game mode Scavenger along with various other images.
The work I did included the use of 3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop and working in the Frostbite 2 engine. -

I was embedded into the UI team so that I could spend all my attention to helping them brainstorm, test and evaluate feedback on the different features we were building. I was moving into a more proactive role rather than a reactive QA role.
